About The Site
So you may have read about me. I decided to take on the transit system for a year. No that doesn’t mean I am looking for ways to take them down, I am actually taking mass transit to work. In San Antonio, TX, we are talking the Via Metropolitan Transit.
I have bought the first of my transit passes. This was a Student pass being that I am a student of the University of Texas at San Antonio, of which I paid $35 for a 5 month pass. This will expire on June 5, 2009 and I will purchase a month to month pass which cost $30.
My goals are simple. Take the bus for a year, lessen my carbon footprint in that time and look for ways to save energy at home. Im the end, I will be the judge of which served me best, my car or my transit system.
