Update: Major news sources, NBC and CNN.com have confirmed that the King of Pop has died. WOAI TV has also confirmed that a Target store in San Antonio has sold out of Michael Jackson CDs.
UPDATE: Michael Jackson has died. According to TMZ.com, the 50-year-old pop singer has passed away from suffering a cardiac arrest. Paramedics responding to the emergency call said Jackson had no pulse and never got a pulse back after CPR.
Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
According to KTLA.com, Michael Jackson has gone into cardiac arrest. Paramedics responded to an emergency call at his home and performed CPR on him. He was taken to UCLA Medical Center by ambulance where it was confirmed that he was not breathing when he arrived.
It is unclear what he is being treated for or what his condition may be, however according to TMZ.com, Joe Jackson, Jackson’s father, said the pop singer is “not doing well”.
